CHANCE ENCOUNTER - A place for healing old wounds and renewing old friendships, the Wall brought Vic Tunnell, a disabled Vietnam veteran, and Lynn Brock, a former military nurse, together in a chance encounter on Veterans Day 1997. They hadn't seen or spoken to each other since 1967 when Tunnell, wounded at Dak To, was airlifted to a hospital in Pleiku where he was cared for by the "redheaded" nurse.
